EO Ibaraki 第1期 会長 挨拶
日本で15番目のチャプターとして、EO茨城が2023年7月14日に発足しました！
僕にとっては2つ目のEO創設です。初回は、1995年10月にEOジャパンをアジアで初めて設立。
そして28年の月日を経て、僕のふるさと茨城で県単位で初めてのチャプター（島を除いては）を立ち上げました。
茨城県は魅力度最下位の常連ですが、実は魅力盛りだくさんです。干し芋は世界最大の生産を誇り、農業生産高は本州１位、サバ・イワシなどの漁獲量は日本最大。工場立地面積も日本一で、研究機関の数も日本一です。日本一のタイトルを誇り世界クラブで準優勝した鹿島アントラーズやスポーツ界のライジングスター賞を受賞した茨城ロボッツなどスポーツチームや、アジア最大のフェスを目指すLuckyFes、急激に成長している地方放送局であるLuckyFMなど。EO茨城には、第一＆第二次産業から最先端の科学やエンタメを代表する熱い思いの起業家が集っています。
メンバー全員が日本一・世界一を目指す可能性を信じる起業家集団として、3つの理念を掲げています。

EO Ibaraki was launched on July 14, 2023 as the 15th chapter in Japan!
This is my second EO. First, I founded EO Japan in October 1995, the first in Asia.
And after 28 years, I started the first chapter (excluding islands) on a prefectural level in my hometown, Ibaraki.
Ibaraki Prefecture is a regular at the bottom of the list of attractive prefectures, but it actually has a lot to offer. It boasts the world’s largest production of dried sweet potatoes, the highest agricultural production in Honshu, and the largest catch of mackerel and sardines in Japan. It also has the largest factory site area in Japan and the largest number of research institutes in Japan. Rising stars in the sports world include sports teams such as Kashima Antlers, which boasts the number one title in Japan and was runner-up in the world club championships, and the Ibaraki Robots, which is always a rising star in the sports world, as well as LuckyFes, which aims to be the largest festival in Asia, and LuckyFM, a rapidly growing local broadcasting station. EO Ibaraki is home to passionate entrepreneurs representing cutting-edge science and entertainment from the first and second industries.
As a group of entrepreneurs whose members all believe in the possibility of becoming the best in Japan and the world, we have three principles.
First, talk about big dreams and raise your perspective.
Second, break through your own boundaries and grow greedily.
Third, realize your dreams with your friends and enjoy life to the fullest.
Realize your dreams in a crazy, big way, and have fun. With the motto of running the chapter in the most flexible and innovative way, we will create a new pioneering model for EO with unique learning and content rooted in the local community. EO Ibaraki will aim to be the best in Japan and the world with great friends! We’ve got to do it!
